How EarlyBird at Home works

Get Assessed
EarlyBird’s award-winning assessment and dyslexia screener was developed and scientifically validated at Boston Children’s Hospital in partnership with faculty at the Florida Center for Reading Research. Administered by your Literacy Specialist, this assessment will give you a detailed picture of what reading skills your child knows and an understanding of your child’s risk for dyslexia or other reading challenges.

The Pip School App
Alongside the friendly toucan Pip, your child will play research-backed games to master critical reading and comprehension skills. We recommend your child plays for a total of 2 hours a week across 4-6 sessions. Parents receive ongoing progress reports and check-ins with a Literacy Specialist.
